Do Your Best {Free Download}

Whew! This week has been a rough one for me. In addition to starting school back up, starting an hour earlier than last year..and having to go to and from school 3 times a day, I feel like I never get anything done!  Emotionally, it has been a tough one too.  I'm blaming the pregnancy hormones, but as a parent I have learned a lot this week.

Which ties in perfectly with my free download today. I now have two little kids in school. They are completely opposite. One is a pleaser, one could care less what you think. (and that includes the teacher..you can imagine how easy this transition has been! ha.)  BUT, one thing I have learned this week is to NEVER compare your children. Both can have excellent days at school for different reasons, and that is okay. One may have a great day, and the other has a horrible day..and THAT is okay.  The one thing my husband and I do require is this:
SO while one child has figured that out and knows what that is, we are slowly teaching the other what that means in a new setting.  Change is hard for everyone, right?!  And even when my little boy has rotten days, I can say that when I pick him up, I can give him a hug and tell him I love him because I realize that being 5 is sometimes hard and trying new things is often difficult..and mostly because I know with time, doing our best comes and the sense of accomplishment that it is, is what drives us on to the bigger and better things.

I made two prints for you today with the same message. You can find the free 8x10 download HERE.  Remember, free downloads are for followers of Kiki Creates ONLY (just takes a second on the sidebar, thanks!).

I LOVE your blog & all of your fun ideas. I have 2 kids in school too, and 2 at home. I feel like my days are so busy, especially with the kindergarten schedule.
This first week of kindergarten was supposed to be easy right? But, we already have a kid being a bully to my son- calling him names & hitting him- really- already in kindgarten!?
Thankfully the teacher is wonderful!

Thanks so much for your free download. I love your style. I have a free download on my blog this week too for Fall & Halloween

This is awesome! My middle daughter had a super hard week. This is just what she needs. She started middle school and it isn't going smoothly. I am going to print one out and put it in her room for her. Thank you so much!

Can I keep him at my house? Your 5 year old...we get along great and I happen to adore him. I will even teach him something from time to time.

Love the prints - my second one started kinder and he could care less about the academics. Each night at the dinner table we have an accounting of who got in trouble, who peed their pants, and who got a puzzle piece taken away for bead behavior. ABC's, 123's - nope we have Mr. Noisy at our house
